Intent does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you do inside the application stays entirely on your device.
Zero Data Collection
Intent operates completely offline:
- No User Accounts: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide an email address.
- No Analytics or Tracking: There are no third-party analytics SDKs, trackers, cookies, or telemetry libraries in the app.
- No Advertising: Intent does not display ads and does not track you across apps or websites.
- No Remote Servers: Intent does not connect to external servers or make network requests.
Screen Time & Family Controls APIs
Intent uses Apple's official Screen Time APIs (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity) solely to provide the mindful pause feature:
- App Selection: The apps you select to pause are chosen using Apple’s system-provided picker. Intent never has access to the names, bundle IDs, or icons of the apps you select.
- Activity Data: Intent does not record or transmit your screen time, browsing history, or app usage to anyone.
- On-Device Storage: All preferences (such as selected duration allowances) are saved locally on your device in secure App Group storage.
